I went to your site at myspace, and left immediately. No opportunity to look at your site because the music was blaring so loudly that I couldn't think and I saw no way to turn it off. This is a good way to get people to leave your site. It is an absolute no-no to put loud music on a site. What if someone is visiting while at work and suddenly loud music strikes unannounced.
Cheers,
rfs

I agree with Roger. I did the same thing when I went to your site.

ok well, it IS my PERSONAL website. If you want to see my images then use one of my portfolio sites. And if it is too loud, turn down the volume on your speakers....I do not set the volume control on the song, so any song that you choose for your profile on myspace has an automatic volume setting. you can, however, turn OFF the song with the media player just under my picture and action box. It's pretty simple.
I'm sorry if you went to a personal website and were offended by what you found there, however, if you wanted my professioanl portfolio then you were in the wrong place to begin with. I allow people to know my myspace address so, in the event of a pending shoot, they can get a feel for my likes and dislikes and my personality, which i feel my personality shows in every picture.
thank you and have a great day!

Where is your professional portfolio? You didn't include a URL in your original post to the forum, so we were sort of left on our own to figure out where you had made changes. Did you make them to your GG portfolio, or to your MySpace portfolio. How were we to know? After all you did say you had changed "my site" and that implies a website and not the GG portfolio!

Also, the music control is off the screen when you first come up on the site and you have to scroll down to find it. I was so loud that I could not bare to stay on the page long enough to find it. By the way, even with the music turned off with the control, there are still some ads at the top of the screen that start making noises also.

Much of the text on your site is unreadable by lots of people who don't have perfect vision. You have lots of red text on orange backgrounds or in some cases red text on a red background and I can't read either. Sure, this makes no difference to some people, but it does to many, and what if they are the ones that have gone to your site wanting to know more about you with the intent to hire you for a assignment. One should always make sure one's website is highly readable and information rich for the widest possible audience.

In any event, I still don't know what new photos you wanted us to look at. But I hope the critique of your site that you requested is helpful.

Cheers,
rfs

It would not have mattered without the loud music anyway.
UNLESS you are a member of my space you would not see any extra pics .

I am amazed at the people who think that place is "professional"
I know a few people who will defend it as being THE place to do business from ??

Most of the pages are set up like that also , loud music , bad fonts almost the same color as the background , flickering icons , long trailing mouse tracks etc...

I ended up putting up a page to "connect" with the bands I had done shoots with . ( don't go there unless I HAVE to )

like i said. you have the basic idea, however i pride myself on having a beautiful page, and i maintain and change it constantly. there ARE a LOT of my modeling photos on there, however you should know kinda what to expect since it is a myspace page. so i agree with you. it is merely entertainment, but i give the link b/c it is image rich. Well, you totally didn't ask for this but I'll throw this in anyway, I'm a pain like that. :-) I didn't look at your myspace site, just because I find myspace to be painful, I did look over your GG port though.

IMHO, the pics are pretty good, but there's at least three you could do without. The two on the bed with the pillow and the business card aren't good shots for a model's port. They don't give the viewer a real good idea how you're built, how you hold yourself, or really much of what you look like. They don't help, so I'd take 'em out.

At 5'9" and 115 you're long and lean. Can't wait to see and hear more from ya. Keep posting.

That site has a lot of problems. The music is certainly one of them.

Let's be clear on this:
Unexpected or unwanted music has
NO PLACE
on a website! When I'm working at my computer, say, reviewing models' portfolios, I usually ALREADY HAVE music playing on my PC - I have an extensive MP3 and CD collection and I prefer to choose my own music, thank you.

Another problem with that site is that it is VISUALLY noisy - too much clutter, too hard to navigate, too much scrolling even on my 1280x1024 display.

AND following the links to see other photos it makes you join something! Nobody is going to join something just to review a portfolio.
