What do you get when you have an S3, an overcast evening when you wanted sweet light, a broken 85 mm stuck on 1.8 with humidity building up on the glass......nothing ever works out exactly the way you wanted it....or does it?

Of course, experience, a steady hand and a great model do help!

Sweet shot! Did you use flash on that one?

Broken lenses can be fun, especially if you don't think they're broken

No flash or reflectors were used. Just a broken down 85 mm stuck on 1.8 lens....lol...I think we should just put a dusty lens cap on that lens and retire it.....

I love the shot, and the contrast of her hair against the blown out background.

That would be much easier than putting a lens cap on Dusty

Well IMO that light is pretty sweet... and so is the model.

I wouldn't retire that lens if it still produces sweet images like this.
Kelly looks great.

Ummmm. You're sort of leaning that direction. Is that a political statement or just the mood of the moment? LOL Horizon or not, you look great! What a surprise!
