Hi Guys

I'm at the point now where I need to star displaying hard copy of my images in some sort of portfolio but I am unsure what is the best way. I appreciate that presentation is everything and was wondering everyone uses?

Thanks

Go find a nice leather covered album at an art supply store. Pick a size that works for you; small for portability (4x6"), large for impressiveness (8x12").

Post bound only. Do not get one of those three ring binder or anything else where you can see the pages attached to the book. I would not get an 8x12. Too small. Get an 11x14 or 11x17 if you're concerned about cropping.

Two places I'd recommend you go are ADBPortfoli.com and Pina Zangaroo.

Don't wanna spend a lot of money on a portfolio? If that's the case, maybe you should ask yourself why you're really getting one and what you really want out of photography.

your local camera supply store should have several sizes in stock. I got mine for $15.00 and it's the same one I saw the big time pros using at workshops over the summer.

Please don't take what I said the wrong way. Getting an expensive book won't make you any better. It will make you seem better in certain peoples' eyes and it's really all about how you package yourself.

Myself, I went the route of mounting my 8x10 prints on archival rag board and placing them into a nice portfolio carrying case.
