This is the last shot I took before climbing back up out of the gorge. As you can see it's beautiful down there but definetly not worth it.

Indeed it is beautiful! But how did it cost you your camera -- did I miss a story?

Look through his posts for one called "HELP!!!". He managed to submerge his camera and 3 lenses. Pucker factor of about 9.5 I'd imagine.

Okay, I just saw in your other thread what happened... what's the current state of your gear now?

I sent the camera and lenses in for repair. When I hear back from Canon or Tamron I'll post again.

6 year warranty on tamron, lets hope for the best

.....you going to invest in the dryzone bag from lowepro now? I couldn't believe it when i saw one, they submerged the thing for 5 minutes 3 feet deep in a stream with a 1ds and a bunch of L series glass infront of me. Blew my mind away...then i saw how much a zipper replacement even is and for that price I expect it to also be repell fire.

This shot didn't cost me my camera but it's beautiful nonetheless. Shot in the northwestern region of Spain known as Galicia near the city of Ferrol. Fraga do Eume, to be exact.

Good day sir and I hope all works out well with your aquatic misfortune. Been there, done that.

Mike
