I am in need of a prop for a project I am working on. I found this for sale but it is much to expensive, $295, and I need 2. If anyone knows of a place locally where I can rent or buy 2 cheap I would appreciate it. I am in the DFW area. Thanks

Try eBay. I was looking for something similar a few weeks back.

Go to your local party store and rent them.

Check out your local Hobby Lobby. They rent wedding items and may have those.

Garden Ridge might be another place to look.

Renting is a definite option if you have a large rental outfit that supplies party equipment such as tents, etc. or holiday stuff. Just be sure you know the rental term and late fees. Sometimes bringing something back a bit late can be brutal on the wallet...

Here's another off beat potential source: local funeral homes. If you know someone who works in a local funeral home, you might ask if they have such a thing available. Hey, it's worth a shot!

Thanks for the info. Never thought about a funeral home! Maybe even ask my church where they get them.

Hello John,

I was at the Old Time Pottery store here last night and saw a couple of candelabras that were actually even more ornate than that for $39 each. I am not sure if that is a national chain or not, but if you have any kind of big warehouse places that sell the plaster columns, silk flowers, etc. they will probably have something.
