Fashion VS Glamour at SSLV

Is it just me? or do most of the images coming out of Vegas seem to lean more towards fashion?

You know going in I wasn't sure what side I would fall on, I hadn't shot enough with models to know. After the event I have to say I lean more commercial/fashion not that surprises me but in truth it was just the style that came out of the camera.

I think for me I shoot what feels right to me at that moment and maybe it was styling or the model selection or the light or locations or mentors or who knows what but fashion-ish images are what popped out when I look at my images.

I think it goes to show that in the end pictures are pictures, I really would love to see some more glamour-ish stuff pop up too so I can see how other viewed the same event differently.

In the end I don't care what came out, I had a great time with great people and got some great images that I am as proud as I will allow myself to be of. Maybe next time I will have a bit more glamour edge to me.

And you have every right to be proud!! what I've seen you post are great images,something you should be very proud to call your own, you worked hard enuff to get them thats for sure, DeAnn and I both thought you really showed your desire to learn, by asking questions of the mentors!! Gary you deserve every great image you have!

Thanks Paul..We both had an absolute blast! got home and she's checking into going to South Padre already!!!
She loved every minute of it!!!! Everyone was so nice and we had a great time!!! I dont figure they'll ever bring one to Wichita!! understandable!

I attended SuperShoots because it appeared to have an emphasis on Fashion. Prior to you posting one of your pictures of DeAnn I've never seen a shot out of past Supershoots that had nudity. It's just a different Genre of workshop than say Rolando's IGBN. I'm not trying to say it's better or worse, it's different. And that's fine. I've attended Rolando's workshop and it was great. I went to SuperShoots because I did feel it had a different emphasis and I wanted to learn from different mentors. Next, I'd like to attend a Dave Hall/Johnny Olsen workshop. I want to round it out. Get different opinions and ideas and use/loose them until I'm my own shooter.
