The problem is that it's mostly been done before and unless you have a unique approach, it's going to come out a bit ho-hummm...

There are dealers that specialize in providing skimpy outfits for Halloween glamour.

So coming up with a new angle is the key here. Unfortunately, the REALLY scary stuff; Katerina, Terrorist bombings, Saracin Gas, Avian Flu Pandemic, Northern Africa famine, and a hundred other horrors, don't translate into glamour very well.

Having said that, how about looking toward the future? There's the whole Alien thing, Blade Runner is a huge cult fav, and even the Star Trek and Star Wars genres might have a twist or two left in them.

Then there's the Dune bunch, and Neo and the Matrix, and a whole slew of other recent stories like Independence Day, that meteor flick with Bruce Willis, and on and on...

Or maybe just come up with your own take on the future. Lessee, a gas sign at $10.99/gal is pretty scary....

[b]And in the apocalyptic future one female alone
remains on the sun seared landscape...
