Hello

I am hoping this thread doesn't disappear like my last one... still haven't heard from anyone, what I did wrong...

Anyway these are some promo pieces I am thinking of getting printed for a upcoming show ( that will remain nameless incase that is what gets my threads pulled)

Comments welcome

grs

Thank you... I am finding I like creating images, but don't like doing layout. I will get a proof of these printed and live with them for a couple of days to see what type of feedback I get.

It probably is a Canadian thing... a consumer show whose name freaked out one of the mods?

It was a good weekend when you were up... I know you don't like snow, so we will have to do it again in the spring.

personally, i think the small image of the kneeling chick in the blue dress is distracting and you could make better use of that space with your graphical text which, in reality, is what you want to ultimately direct people's attention to.

The idea behind the "kneeling Chick" is she is my logo... all of my promo material, price lists invocies etc have her on it.... and she can be a real B***ch to deal with ( The image not the model..she is great)

That is one of the difficulties I am having is how to have her there but not overpowering.

Nike got it right with their swoosh...much easier to deal with.

i think you'd be better off coming up with some kind of unique, graphic logo rather than using an image. it's pretty tuff to brand an image like that, and branding is what it's all about.

Being a photographer, not a graphic artist, I thought I would have a better chance being creative with an image.

Try this placement...does she behave better?

Thanks
