have a question for all, actually.

i was pondering the submission theory and how it is also possible to further ones career or exposure...

there are some photographers out ther who submit female models to 'zines, network, and also send them to places in whch may help them along.

i wonder if this is to be true for male models - such as myself? For example: lets say:

(Equation 1)
Joe/Jane Shooter snaps a photo of me.

Lets say he/she likes it. and says: "Wow! i think ill submit this to er...uh... mens fitness?"

They submit.

something happens.

or

(Equation 2)
Shooter sees another shooters work and says:

"Wow! You outta.... " and really presses that person to submit.

hmm...

well. i wonder out there, if any, shooters think the same for me. For one, I like the fact that many shooters these days are expanding their port to shot men, or duo'ing the photo with male->female.

...but i wonder if there is a photo floating around there- that some photographer has wants to submit me in for a major zine. or willing to if the right photo was taken.

I realize that I am liked by some people out there, based on my personality and work, --and was wondering if the thought. possibly. crossed. their. mind?

I don't submit to 'zine's on my own 'cause it's not my bag. I work for commercial clients who have their own thing going on, advertising-wise. The model-type stuff I do shoot I tend to shoot for my own personal work or their book. I'd never submit without asking their permission first, even though I may have a release that allows me to do so.

But if a model asked me to submit something on their behalf, I'd gladly do so. I'm just not thinking about it when I'm shooting, or even after the shoot for that matter. So, if you liked something I shot of you, you'd have to tell me what you wanted submitted, where you wanted it sent, and who you wanted it sent to.
