Nicole came by today for a quick set. I wanted to try a simple one light glam/fashion look. As always comments and critiques welcome.

Thanks!
Rick

Hi Joseph,

Thanks for your comments. Lighting is one 33.5" Mola beauty dish with a Novatron M500 to camera right about three feet from the model and angled down on her. ISO 100, 125th shutter and metered at F/5.6.

Rick.

Nice job Rick! I love the richness and tone of the shot. Her pose is nice. You should play with single lights more often! I am really enjoying watching you grow in your work, your passion for the art is undeniable. Keep up the good work

nice rick. that mola beauty dish plays nice, don't it? i can usually spot something shot with it in a glance. yer gonna want to do the fresnel thing next. then, you're gonna be faced with lots of decisions whenever you shoot: how many lights? go with the mola? go with the fresnel? umbrella? sfotbox? low key? high? background? interior? exterior?

nice to have choices tho, huh.

Thanks Jimmy! Yea Man, the Mola is the bomb! Still trying to get a handle on it and now your talking Fresnel! Ok, but I'm gonna have to come by for a few lessons As far as the decisions... It's something I think I can live with!
