I got one of those Larson fresnel lens attachments (the 12" one) which I've been lusting after for a few months. So it's a whole new adventure, making images like these. The model is the talented and personable Diana Sara of Baltimore.

Comments and criticism, as always, are welcome.

Thanks Walt! I don't have the identical image with the focus reversed. I was struggling with which point to focus on during the shoot, although it's now obvious to me that the only place to focus on was the mirror.

Oh well, next shoot....

I like the first one alot, but the second one is distracting. I am not sure what that is under her left arm, some kind of bra? It looks odd to me and thats the first thing I noticed. Nice camera work and lighting though.

one would think since Larson is in the photographic equipment business, and for many years i might add, that they could put an image on their website of a product that costs $700.

the mirror shot is way cool, btw.

You can say the same thing about Mole-Richardson and the Mola! At least I can't find a Mola on their site.

Now I feel dumb. Some how my brain put together Mole-Richardson and Mola when in fact they are two separate companies. I think I did for several reasons. One is obviosly the similarity of names. Also the they are similarly expensive brands which imparts a similar devotion to quality. Finally if you search b-n-h for Mola you also get a bunch of Mole stuff (and I know I've done that). Well, ya set the record straight for me Jimmy!
