i think you've reached a point where you shouldn't simply be shooting for the sake of shooting. you should be shooting for impact. you should be thinking your way through the process and attempting to capture compelling images. don't get stuck in the glamour rut-- i.e., simply shooting soft-core stroke material or pin-up or cheesecake. you don't have anyone to answer to but yourself and your muse. attempt images that go beyond the stuff that guys like me end up shooting half the time because we're shooting for clients and that's what *they* want us to deliver. this image is a good example of of moving in the right direction. so was the image you shot with deann in the leather jacket.

Thanks Gun!!! I for one do understand your critiques and absorb them, I realize everyone doesnt like everyshot....but we'll keep pluggin away....

Great Shot Don! I am curious, what is the surface that she is standing on to give you the reflection. I have been looking for something similiar that isn't too costly or difficult to transport since I only have a part time studio.

If it is a 4x8' sheet, then I will have to wait. Someone rearended my van and I can't open one of the back doors. Can't fit wide stuff inside. Can't unbolt the bumper because the nuts are crushed. Need to torch it off. Until then, only narrow stuff like seamless paper. I will look for it for later though.

If I could build my own studio, I wouldn't have to spend money fixing the van. Does that logic work?
