Now that I am officially moved into the new studio, I managed to get some time to shoot. Here area a few images of a model that is starting to become one of my favorites. Really hard to take a bad image of her, and she's great at throwing me the poses asked for, and them some!

The frist two are tungsten lighting, Arri 650w main, Lowell Omni 500w fill, both shot through large panels. Background is natural lighting from north facing studio windows. The third one is a single light source as main, a Lil Pepper 200w shooting through a home made gobo, with ambient as the fill. The last one is a Speedotron 1600ws in a large softbox, hair light with gel, and a smaller softbox with a White Lightning x800.

Refreshing to see work like this Stephen. All four are original and well executed. I've noted before about the model working with props and dressed for the occasion. All four are different and well lighted, well planned.

This is the kind of work that inspires us. To me, they all have a mood, or even a story. Good work! -Jim

RG, I'm trying to keep it under their noses so they will notice!

Heres the shooting data. All were shot with the 1DMk2, Raw, color bal set to flash, and processed in CS2. There were two other sets we shot on, but haven't edited the images yet. I'll post those when I get them done.

Stephen...really great job!
I love the first 3 of the series for the quality of the image, the use of DOF and the light color.

All four images are beautiful.
I think you just set the standard I would love to reach one distant, far-off day in the future.
Just beautiful!
No!....... Breathtaking!

Ditto what Kevin said, these photos are definately some wonderful examples for a beginner like myself to study and emulate. For example, even though the shadow of her face is fairly strong and dramatic, her eyes are equally illuminated. Teresa's poses compliment your craftsmanship with light; the lines and angles of her poses are both classic and beautiful.
