I had the pleasure of working with Hailey & Star today....

I got to try out a new flourescent light set up, and just have some fun...

No screaming baby and No grumpy bankers today...

Just having some fun with this shot.

Any Thoughts on this new catch light set up? The only thing I think, is I should have made the square a bit larger in the eye.

How large is the square? How far away from the square was the model?

I regularly put the model about 3-5 feet away from my square and get a bit bigger catchlight in the pupils...

though sometimes I'll turn off one or more banks (like I did in this shot of Kaylee just to change up the catch lights.

However you've got it set up, the lighting looks scrumptuous.. very very nice and warm. Did you PS out any green? (I usually remove just a bit of green - even though they're supposed to be daylight balanced, my tubes seem to secrete just a smidgen of gree light that's easily PS'ed out).

All in all.. very nice job!

I used 4' lamps in the light bank. The model was about 5' away from it.

I used PS to chainge the color temp in the raw image. I will have to look into adjusting the colors in Hue and saturation adjustments. This is the first shoot with flourescent lights for me and I am sure it will take some getting used to the color difference.

An other problem I was haveing is if I brought the light bank closer to the model I lost one corner of the light bank in one of the eyes. I dont know what was blocking the corner, I will have to use it a few more times to figure it out I sure.

This Image has only levels adjusted no other PS.

The model is Star.

Thanks for the input.
