Hi Marc,...beautiful shot of a beautiful model!
You might improve it by removing the pole or whatever it is above her head though.
What light, shutter speed and f/stop did you use?

Thanks for the suggestion, Ron. Here's the tech specs:

ISO 100
Shutter Speed 1/500th
Aperture f/2.8
70mm focal length
Sunlight bounced onto the model in a darkened alley via 50% gold/silver reflector.

Ya know you got the photo here. It would be easy to just ps it out (the soft focused pole) ....but ya know what I didn't see it till it was brought up......
I was too busy looking at that beautiful subject. I got a question about using reflectors, do you place them relatively close or far away from you model?
What size minimum reflector do you use and are they all high specular silver or gold?

In your shot is she in complete shade or is some soft spill light on her from overhead?

The reason I ask is I tried this yesterday and I ended up with a monster light. I also didn't have my subject in complete shade. I was trying for a bit of natural hairlight.

Thanks for noticing that Frank. With those gorgeous eyes and her stunning beauty, I completely overlooked it. If it caught your eye then it must be an issue

thanks...

She is in a narrow alley between 2 six story brick buildings. I'm looking south into the alley so there's not a whole lot of light going into the alley. Photographically, it's dark. I had the model stand about 10' back from the line where the shade of the alley met the sun shining on the gravel parking lot. That gravel bounces some light and additional light was provided by the reflector. Mine is silver/gold on one side and white on the other and is about 3' diameter. I also have smaller ones for spot effects. As for your question on how close I put them, it depends on how much light is falling in the alley and how much light I want on the model.

Actually Ron C got it first, don't understand how my post got in front of his.
What I meant while you have it in a digital state it is easily taken care of.
If you had printed it I would have left it alone till it needed printing again.
She is a beautiful girl and it is doubtful anyone other than a photographer would have noticed it because it is out of focus and not part of the theme. After all she is what we want to look at.
