Has anyone got a good link to a posing guide?

Scott Story has one that I'd like to print but he lost the link.

The only ones I can find are links to pay sites.

Any help would be happy good fun times for all.

Where do we find Jeff Black's?

I bought the "Guide to Posing the Female Model"
http://photographytips.com/page.cfm/5858

You can buy it through [censored] less expensively, but it's still $50+ It's a nice book, though. Well made, and I've found it very useful (given my very limited posing knowledge).

I have this one also and it is quite good. It is small an easy to carry. It is grossly overpriced, however.

I'm still working on my posing guide, and hope to get it out by the end of the year. It is designed to be used on a PDA like a Palm Pilot or Pocket PC.

Cheers,
rfs

Its funny that you mention creating a Posing Guide on a PDA, because that is exactly what I use. I just save images in which I like the pose, then crop and resize to 240x320. I keep my "Guide" on a SD card that I install in the PDA before a shoot and show the PDA to the model before each set of shots.

I usually pick twenty or thirty poses for a given shoot, sort them by general category (sitting, standing, kneeling, etc.), put them in a separate directory, then use the viewer software that I downloaded from Handango.

but she actually has more photos in her GG portfolio.

Yup, I'm with Don. Jeff Black's guide covers all the bases and then some. I printed the whole thing (thumbnails) onto 3 sheets of photo paper and let models scan through it while they're getting ready to shoot. Very handy.
