Hi Joseph,

I would have to ask my brother that question. He never pursued a job in photography after receiving his diploma from there. I don’t even think he hung his on the wall.

My feeling is it’s a mail order course and you’re basically teaching yourself how to be a photographer. You send in your photos to get critiqued and they tell you how to improve, but you can do that here if you want.

I can’t say how good the course is because I didn’t take it, but I can tell you maybe save your money and do some reading on photography. Also get out and shoot pictures. Learn how to use your camera so you can take good photos.

Paul

I am enrolled in this course currently. It does teach a lot for the novice photographer and the experienced one. It is an established and respected school. Bottom line this school gives knowledge and knowledge is power. Plus belonging to this site you can gain even more knowledge. Photography is an addiction to me I want to shoot photos of everything, NYIP is a very good help in that respect. Jim
