It's painfully obvious after reading many of these replies how few actually have any real idea of what makes bondage enthusiasts tick. I've been involved in an ancillary way for over 15 years now, and I have witnessed numerous "sessions". At no time did anyone reach orgasm. EVER. Bondage is NOT about sexual gratification, unless it's the viewer who gets off on it, and that's the same voyeurism nearly all glamour nude photography feeds. Bondage is about trust, and boundaries and exploration. It's about sensory gratification and testing nerve ending response. It's about a mind come. It's been called "the thinking person's sex".
Bondage as violence against women? Ridiculous. Can it be? Sure. But just because Norman Bates killed several people with a kitchen knife doesn't lead one to think that everyone who buys a cutlery set is a serial killer purchasing his tools. The vast majority of bondage is not about violence.
As for the Page-Klaw collaborations, some of it got very intricate. But in the end, Bettie says she "had a ball" doing those shoots.
Bottom line, if the wife ain't into it, you have 2 choices: Drop it, or "what she don't know won't hurt her". I'll leave that decision to you.
