Texas gets 75000, Florida 150000, and California has 1.5 million

Texas may be close...but the Florida and California numbers barely cover Andy McFarland and Jimmy D's models....

so with this one did you fix the original or fix my fix?

Can you give me some more info on the specifics? What tools did you use, opacity, desaturation etc?

Thanks, and it's okay with me if you don't delete it, this is the type of thing where I learn best. More of a hands on approach than a philosophical/theoretical approach.

I grabbed the original and played with it...once again, because it's so small it's not a real impressive fix. I am NO PS expert...

As for tolls, I simply used the patch tool (set to source) and the clone tool (small brush and opacity at about 25 to 30%) and tried to remove the wrinkles first, and then blend in the correction with the untouched skin...

Ok, as promise....Are you ready??

Now some of this, if not all, maybe redundant. I didn't read what every one else said. It's to early and I'm not awake enough to read that much.

#1-You should not shoot a woman full on. Always have them turn at least slightly one way or the other. Full on makes them look wider than they are, doesn't accentuate any of the curves and makes them look "to" confrontational. It looks to me like you were going for attitude here, but got maybe just a little to much attitude because she looks totally unapproachable. One reason, to straight on, the second reason, her chin is up just a little to much. If you have her drop her chin a little, but keep the attitude expression, it will make her look more approachable and maybe a little mysterious.

#2-I like this pose better, but everyone gets trashed for wrinkles in the neck. I think the wrinkles draws the eye away from her beautifully, well lit face. I can't tell you how to fix it posing wise because if you want an over the shoulder look, you're going to get them. Maybe not quit so "over the shoulder". Or good ol' photoshop.

#3-The images are kind of small, but from what I can see, good job on the gausian blurred background. I've tried that a couple of times and can never get mine to look right. Excellent lighting!! But the pose does nothing for her. It makes her look flat chested and doesn't do anything to show off her curves. Have her turn more toward the camera and throw out a hip to show her curves. Bring her chin down some, it will open up her eyes more.

Another thing, don't be afraid to show some thigh. A mid thigh crop can be a very sexy thing because it makes the eye wonder where those thighs are leading to.

I have to say....GREAT lighting on all of them. #2 pose is best, as well as facial expression.

Cinn
(Throwing her hip out to create curves.)

(Good mid-thigh crop.)

(And just for the heck of it)

Ya know... I'm not sure my version of Elements has a patch tool. I'll have to look into that.

Thanks for your help.
