This was my first attempt at using a bike in my images. We only had an hour to setup and shoot so...I tried. Im interested in hearing the Yays or Nays on this one. Biker photogs im really interested in hearing your words but everyones voice is welcome! I have more images this is just what Ive gotten to so far.

Location: warehouse
bike is about 6ft from the wall.
2 lights
Model: Mya

Brian.... it's been a long time since I've shot anything like this but I think you have a great start. One thing I would change would be to shoot more angles and get down low. Lighting a bike or car to eliminate glare is not easy to do. I don't care for the typical biker mag photography but if you'll check out Makes and Models, you'll see some excellent examples of photography with models on bikes, cars, boats and other. Best of luck.

nice model and bike, I would like to see more light thrown from perhaps a large overhead softbox, the model looks dark while the front-bottom-left of the bike is plenty bright...

I like the shot. Great model, nice bike, pose looks good.....I guess the only thing would be a little more light on the rear end of the bike to bring out some more detail. What was behind the wood? I would like to see the same shot with a concrete wall maybe. When you shoot a bike like that with very little in the background you have to have nice even lighting. I prefer to shoot bikes on high or low key backgrounds, or on location with a busy background. Have fun with it whatever you do, you are the only one you have to please. You could probably pull some more detail out of the rear with a shadow/highlight adjustment layer. Nice job.....
