Yeah, that image thing, it's kind of funny how equipment can do that.

My friends and I would get hit on by women all the time when we would be filming in Florida. Everybody wants to be famous. It worked so well that we rarely went out without our camera gear. We'd get to a bar and the gals would buy us drinks!

I guess size does matter.

you don't have to be schlepping a betacam or something tethered to a field deck to get hassled in el lay. any full-size DVcam or even an xl1 (cuz of it's shape) will get you hassled. i just bought a sony HVR-Z1U (HD). we'll see how that one goes.

as for weight, the digital betacams and high-end HDs are even worse than the standard betas.

a girl i assists (when she comes up this way for shoots) lives down i LA and said the 'permit' issue is hell down there. and its pretty much common knowledge so you cant claim ignorance on the issue.

I love it when women say: "My, that's a big one"

and my standard come back is to smirk slighty and say: "you're not the first girl to ever tell me that"..

works every time especially when I am sporting my 300mm!

nice shot by the way, personally I would boost the Saturation, Contrast and Brightness... And are you Shooting with your White Balance on 6000k?
