Okay, how in the heck did you do this:

I've looked at it for over an hour now and, unless you added the blinds afterwards (doubtful since she's holding them open), I can't figure out how you lit it without getting shadows from the blinds on your model.

Look at the catches in the eyes...
Camera left large source, Camera right smaller source, hair light

He likely had the light sources even with or behind the shades.

Also check the highlight on the arm pit on the right compared to the top of her arm, clue number 1. Both eyes show the light sources to be at the side and the third light source at the hair like above mentioned. On the left, the hair shimmers more. She almost has more of a live pop if you will because of this. Most likely some sort of diffuser to get that wrap around look. It is a very good picture.

I think the standard answer, is "very well"

The serious answer, is shown in this lighting photograph that was taken just a few moments after the blind shot. If you look up at the top you can see the blinds that were used.

The main light in front was straight on to the blinds so they cast no real shadows (or that is to say the shadow would be hidden by the blind itself) and the blinds are right against her. Also it's a large softbox, so any shadows would be quite diffuse. The fill you see on the would also reduce any shadows. All of the mentioned elements would reduce the shadows to almost nothing.

Cheers,
rfs

Thanks for the photo of the light layout.

I knew it was partially lit from the sides but there was so much light on the front, I figured you either used some sort of frontal lighting but the lack of shadow got me.

Cool image by the way, if I didn't mention it before!
