This is Emily... one of the models for next weeks return visit of Rolando to Toronto.
I have been getting some prints ready for her, and I am having trouble with this one... I don't know if I should leave the one eye in darkness and lighten it up.
I kinda like it dark.

It kind of distracts me.

It's distracting......looks like a dark hole to me with a black eye with the way the shadow comes down underneath.

Always a pet peeve of mine.

Scrap it or reconstruct the eye altogether but I am sure you have others that work for this model.

Maybe feather the selection just a bit before you adjust it...that eye looks just a little bit bigger than the other now.

No..... this is now too obvious what's been done. If you're going to lighten the eyes, do both at the same time by the same amount.

By the way, who is the model?

Damn! What a girl! I would lighten up the eye a bit. Your on track for a great photo (the subject certainly can't hurt).

This is the third and possibly final version... won't know for sure until I see it on paper.

I do have others that work with Emily which we will be printing. She is great to work with. We both liked this image and I was trying to figure out what I can do to make it better.

I guess I was hoping that people would say the dark eye has some artistic merit... instead I got confirmation that it was time to pull it into photoshop and start working on it.

See you in Vegas

[/ QUOTE ]

The models name is Emily. She is in training to compete in fitness competitions... and is just great to work with.

See is one of the models that will be shooting next weekend when Rolando is in Toronto at my studio... it should be a fun weekend.

This is another image of her in none competitive shape
