I photographed the backend of a car this weekend (and the backend of a model too ). I've seen some photos where the license plates on vehicles are blurred or otherwise PSed out, and other times where the license plate is left intact. So the question is, are you supposed to make those plates unidentifiable, or can you just leave them the way they are?

If anybody knows, I'd sure appreciate it. I'd like to know before I post some new photos.

Thanks,

Sam

If the vehicle belongs to the model, I'd say pixellate it out. It's often easy to get a home address from a plate number. Besides, many plates list home counties or other home area identifiers (colleges, etc.)

If the vehicle belongs to a 280 pound ex-lineman for the Bears, who cares? If it's a model's, wipe the plate out in any of a number of ways to keep her safe. Nobody will object.

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I guess I shoulda mentioned that the car was a rental. I guess I could just leave it in then... maybe somebody can trace it to them and they can get some business from it or something.

Thanks Al, 'preciate it!

Hmm, yeah I guess I could do that too! That may hafta wait a bit though, 'cause she's wanting these in a hurry. For one thing, she's entering them in some contests for us, so we have time for people to vote for them, and the other thing, she like them, she really likes them (), and she's anxious to get them.
