I'm looking for some feedback on the photo posted below. As you can see the hightlights in the swimsuit are blown (mostly anyway). I also know that the suit is mangled near her neck.

My question is this: Do the blown highlights bother you? Choose A, B, or C.

A.) No, they do not bother me, looks appropriate considering she's at the beach.
B.) Yes, they are blinding me, I need my shades to view it.
C.) No, I'm too much of a horn-dog to get past looking at the model to even notice the swimwear.

I appreciate the feedback.

Best,

Allen

Model is Stacie Sullivan

Allen,

Those tiny little white spots hardly diminish from the overall image... definitely it gets an "A" from me!

Allen...

Given the fact that the fabric of the suit is highly reflective and shiny, those spots don't detract at all. Kinda like complaining about glint areas on chrome or glassware. They're perfectly natural in direct light.

Keep up the great work!

David

ps...tell Stacie to come by GG once in a while to check for PMs, ok? Or just have her email me direct! LOL....

Hey Allen,

A. dont bother me..i think it adds some nice dynanics to the shots. The pose is great although she is a little to square in the frame for me. Considering she is looking camera right I would have left a little more on that side even though isnt really showing "motion". I like the use of the water as a forground with good use of depth of field. Model in as middle ground and blown out background. My question is..I see a square dark spot directly around the model. Did you scrim her? I see some hight contrast where there "shouldnt" be any. Overall great shot as always.

No scrim. I don't see the dark spot, other than what I guess is seaweed or the likes in the water.

If you hadn't told us they were blown highlights I wouldn't have known it. I thought she was wearing a pink and white bathing suit, but I assume from what you say the white parts are blown highlights from a shiny texture.
