Are Nipples offensive?

I was coming home listening to NPR. They ran a tape of Pat Robertson advocating the assasination of the leader of a foreign country to his US TV audience.

The Comedy Channel ran a roast of Pam Anderson in prime time. Every other word was blipped out. It didn't take a whole lot to guess what was being said though. And a lot of it was pretty rough... and not intended to be particularly funny.

But Janet Jackson has a "wardrobe malfunction" and half a million folks complain to the FCC.

I get the feeling we are sadly off course...
