Good choice. If having someone else there "isn't as much of a turn-on", then there are red flags, flares, smoke signals, sirens, and a bunch of other lesser signs that this guy isn't quite professional. I'm glad you followed your instincts and best judgement.

If his creative juices are best working when he's aroused, then it's not worth
the time or the risk. Just the fact that he got angry and said what he did is
reason enough to not shoot with him.

I have no problems meeting chaperones, but most times they can either p/u
the model and come back after a set time or if there's room, wait in a
waiting area. But I have no chaperones on the set itself.

The only time I allow chaperones is when I'm just casting. Casting is
cheap and I'm previsualizing a shoot... no problem.

If it's me or my team on a project, I want everyone focused on the job.
Unless the model or chaperone wants to fork over $2000.00 to cover man
hours, materials, rentals and general expenses.
