Beyond the "Back button" issue I am pretty pleased, and of course you are already working on that. When I was using my Mac it was noticeably easier.

I have found that viewing the portfolios is a bit more cumbersome, but I strongly suspect that the return of the back button will alleviate that as well. All in all my overall reaction is quite positive.

I see the potential in the new site. GG was clunky with much LESS available. I think things are headed in the right direction. I have been playing around for about an hour now and it looks like things will work out well.

The only thing that seriously bothers me is links 'across' the top. I like links stacked myself, like when editing a profile thay are all down the side. MUCH easier to read.

I'll be honest, it may be to quick to vote, but I voted 50/50.
Maybe I'm just slow to change when it comes to computer things. When I get use to things my opinion will probably change.

Well.. I love the layout but I'm not sure about the white background. I've always preferred seeing images on a black background.

It's probably something I'll just have to get used to but overall, I like the new design.

Well, the last time GG made a major change, I really hated the choice made and was pretty vocal about my complaints. This time I have to say I'm pretty much impressed, at least so far. It does not seem to be very intuitive, but with some searching I found the stuff I looked for, so far. The design seems to be a little busy and it isn't very 'pretty', but it seems to be functional. I like it! One request though, as a good speller but a lousy typist, could a spell check be added?

But ... as an old fart on the forum, damn near a charter member, I'm a bit concerned about the name change and don't really understand the need for it. It didn;t seem 'broke', so why fix it? GG had a name which explained what it was all about, now what the hell is Glamour1? To be honest, if I didn't know about it from the past, it sounds sort of like a site I would not be interested in. I hope the name change doesn't mean a change in concept or philosophy. The concept of "Garage Glamour" was easy to undererstand, but what's the philosophy of "Glamour One"?

As with anything, change is sometimes hard to handle. So far this doesn't look too bad but a couple of things to note...

-This site now looks very much like many other forums I've frequented. The old 'look' may have been cluttered but it was comforting to think that it didn't look like the others.

-I'm not sure if this is a function of the coding or it's on my side but clicking on the 'chat' button or any message thread would be good to have another window open up. I hate clicking the 'back' button.

Let's see how things turn out...so I'm 'so-so' on the new look...neither hate it or love it.

Once the new system is learned I think it will be better with more options. I do see some similarities with some other modeling sites but I feel it will work for the photographers here are much better. I am glad to see sports added to the site. Hopefully the glitches will be fewer with each passng day. Thanks again Rolando for getting back to me with my problem earlier. Best wishes.

I must admit that I was, like many others, a little overwhelmed and confused. However, the more that I work through this new site, the more I find and the more I love this thing. It's fast, not that hard to work once you find all the little buttons, and very easy on the eyes.

Congrats on the conversion rg, and thanks for all that you do to make this available to us.

Cheers.
