A couple of thoughts:
1. I find the new site far too busy, with more headings (topics) than are needed and it is not easy to navigate around. I find myself making many false trips. Fewer headings with drop down lists would work. Much of the material on the sides ( except the advertising as I understand that somebody has to help pay for the site), could be placed under a heading. An example of what I'm talking about is everthing that starts with " MY ", could be placed in a drop down menu under "MY HOME". Using the same logic, many other headings could be streamlined. I use a 19" monitor, so the type size is not an issue, but many out there have their monitors set for 800X600 resolution. Three rows of headings are too much.
2. I take it that the site is posting cookies on our machines, as once I signed in several days ago, it lets me enter again and again without loging in with my pass word. I for one, from a security aspect, much prefer the site requiring me to log in each time. Also anybody that shares a computer in their home would have the site logged as a favourite, therefore anybody on the computer ( kids etc) would have automatic access just by going to the site. Am I wrong on this one?
I'm sure I'll get used to it or leave

I like the features and functions but it will take a while to get used to it and figure out how to navigate. I find that it's not intuitive and it's very busy. It took me several attempts to find out how to edit my profile. I haven't uploaded any portfolio images because I haven't had the time to really figure it out.
Once we are all used to it I think it will be nice, but for now I'm fairly confused.

Like the others said, it's going to take a bit of getting used to, but it's definitely an improvement. Seems like there's some definite process stream-lining to take advantage of. Plus Glamour1 definitely sounds more sophisticated than GG

Thanks...Brian

Still not sure who gets the reply...Brian is right very streamlined almost to the point of confusion... I'm with Olli on the catagories, not sure if mine are right. still don't know how to post a photo to the discussion board.
I've made new friends, but don't know how to get to their portfolio's, do we have to wade through 52,000 portfolio's to find them??
Looks like flat mode madness to me....will I live long enough to figure this out????

G'day,
At first, the change was a real shock to the system. I don't take change well, but the new layout is growing on me. Once I noticed the buttons in the black header... lol
Alot of work has gone into this, and I for one welcome our new Glamour One overlords!

A few people are reading all the threads...it's not that complicated.

In a nutshell, we could have had just one category, 55 images for Lifer's as in the past. The only difference now, we give you room for more images in more categories--and you--get to choose out of those categories which make your upfront portfolio.

I'll give you a choice, do you want one category with 55 images, or one portfolio that can showcase images from your various categories that can have more than 55?

Your main category portfolio should be your "showcase." Not sure where that is, just login, go to "MY PORTFOLIO" link on the top of the forum navigation system, that's it--when you upload, up load to "Portfolio Member List" that is your main category, by default in all uploads!!!! Once you chose that, that image will be in that main portfolio and any other category you chose up to two more. So if I want a sports picture, I first upload to "Portfolio Member List" then on the second screen I give it a second category--how hard is that?

I'm posted what seems to be a 100 of these posts, is anyone listening besides Bobby G?

Ok, I have to run and pack, headed to Philly, but you all decide, do you want one portfolio--if so, we kill all the categories and give everyone just one portfolio, nothing else. OR do you want on main portfolio with separate categories and albums? We're trying to give you more and you're saying we're taking away? Not sure how that adds up.

Regardless, as JT said, patience is everything, we're adding every day, look for the Zip Code search and state search next week when I get back, it's being written as code as we speak. Also, look for the "pop-up" box so you can click a mini-thumb from an image in your main portfolio to auto link in these posts...believe me when I say it, we're going to make it work...Thanks, rg sends!

Is any one else having this problem:
I log in and go to the main forum and everythings ok. If I go to my settings or any forum (ie nudes) that requires membership (I am still a freebee) every time I click to go to another page it requires me to log in again.............That is frustrating.
Otherwise i agree the site is a bit busy but I think it's pretty nice over all and once we get use to the new format everyone will be happy.

Thanks for the reply Ron, Cookies are enabled but for some reason my firewall seems to be the issue.
Thanks again,
Tom

Sorry, no problem here with that part of it. But, at the same time, I'm the only one on this computer so I have everything set so I don't have to remember my login everytime.
