Your thoughts on the new design...

Several constructive suggestions have already been posted, at least from my viewpoint. However, mine might not be the view of the owners of this site...

So ...

if you want constructive suggestions that will help accomplish what YOU want, post a new request for comments stating YOUR goals (your "mission statement" in the argot of business consultants). Then perhaps we can be of more help to you.

Thanks for the input, but what I'm stating is, before everyone goes off, give it time, patience and things will come together, verses having destructive comments. A few folks haven't even "poked around" to see what the site is capable of. The mission is simple, provide the best, and we're still working on it. Thanks, rg sends!

Designing a navigation system for a site this size is surely a bit difficult. Stick with a few buttons per page and there's more clicking from page to page, go with more links and there's more to click per page. I can get around it o.k. and have not reached any level of frustration.

I would say that over time however, you may find some tweaks are necessary once the system's had some time to shake out with the users.

Some of us are old and have bad eyes and monitors. I'd love some way to enlarge the type. I'm so close to the monitor that I need a #45 sunscreen.

The new design seems just fine. It'll require a little "getting used to". Why the need to change the name. Did I miss that somewhere?

I think the name change will be beneficial But it lost me at first.
Will you be able to seach model,stylist and photographers by zip soon?

I like things simple and to me, this new design is not simple. It has some interesting features and such, but I think you can the same features without the complications. That's just me, but it won't stop me from particpating, using and enjoying your site as always!

Ok I know I was a little abrasive. Hopefully you found it more constructive. Anyways I decided to go off and do something definately constructive for you. A favicon! Grab the following file/image:

Place it in your web root (or have your web monkey do it ) and then there should be a nice "G1" icon in people's tabs, explorer bar, bookmark, whatever! Browsers should automagically resize it to the necessary 16x16px where needed. Why not help where you can?
