Really great three-dimensional effect. It is so interesting to look at something known for it's color...without the color. Arkie

Thanks Arkie for the comment. This particular example was an intense orange and the detail seemed to be getting lost because of the colour. I decided to convert to black and white and also give it an antique feel.

Nice use of selective focus. Sepia is a good choice, too. This would make a good stock image.

Thanks Bruce and Ron. I used the 60mm efs @ f/2.8. The lens was loaned to me by a graphic design client of mines...I must say it's one pretty sweet lens, very sharp but focus is sometimes a bit hit and miss in low light conditions.
