Yes, my photography sucks, but I'm working on it! I am new at the actual photography side, but have enjoyed looking at beautiful women all my life. I think I just got pissed off one day at all of the model portfolios that had the same shots and were starting to blend together. Pose in front of wall covered in grafitti, check! Laying down on top of mirror, check! Have that one topless shot in portfolio because it's just so shocking, check!
When I think about my own glamour or erotic photography, I tend to not think so much in visuals, but in the form of songs and feelings. Whenever my wife hears the song "Like You" by Evanescence it always makes her tear up. I played it while she posed for me on our staircase and yeah, she was dressed in a sexy outfit. She had this look in her eyes that was like a lost little puppy and really gave the photo a totally different feel and context then what a normal smiley face picture would have.
No, I don't have the $3000 camera body and that $1500 lens, but I'm just trying to portray a whole other side to glamour photography than tries to hit you more in the heart and mind, instead of just going through the eyes and into the pants.
I'm probably over thinking this way too much, but I want to make photographs that have meaning and bring back memories.
