Glamour photograpy is also my passion. Started out watching and appreciating art. Now would like to be an artist.
Even more reason that I am continuing my search for the dslr.
Just that with the day job in a bit of jeapordy, I am currently on hold for putting the money down. Gaining knowledge (non-practical) in the mean time.
Found this site in my quest for knowledge. Nice to be in the company of fellow passionate photographers.

The best thing for you to do is get to a camera shop and HOLD the camera bodies in your hands. See which fits best for your grip and ease of functions with the controls, to your own particular, price range, tastes and comfort. Most all camera bodies have the same features and it is hard to find one body that does better than the other. As far as I have noticed, It depends on the creativity of the person doing the shooting and the lenses. I dare say Canon and Nikon are the bodies to look at. But I have only used Minolta, Olympus and Nikon digital cameras.
For me, camera bodies, I went through are; Olympus e300, Minolta 5d, alpha sweet, nikon d40, d50 d70 and finally found the perfect fit with the D200. All of which gave similar results. but most didnt feel right to me whe I am using them. the D200, to me, fits perfectly and has what i want with an ease of use that is amazing to me.
