does anyone else find it annoying to have to scroll left and right on the main page? I have my monitor set to 1680 X 1050 which should be plenty wide.

Strange. I run a dual monitor setup and my main screen for browsing is 1280x1024. I don't have to scroll horizontally at all.

I have the same problem with scrolling left and right on the first page, and yes it is annoying.
My screen resolution is 1024x768, but it doesn't sound like that's the issue.

I'm browsing with Firefox. Is it browser related perhaps?

I have to scroll too, but the only thing over on the right is ads anyway so I don't even bother.

I'm on a 1024x768 resolution using IE6 and I don't have to scroll left to right at all. The only exception is if someone posts a photo to a forum thread that is wider than a certain number of pixels (above 700 pixels usually) which would force one to scroll. But this happens rarely.

cheers,
rfs

Thanks for all who answered. It's interesting that some have to scroll and some don't. I am using Firefox. I noticed that some said that IE. Is anyone using FF that does not have to scroll?

and why would it be only the first page. Yes it is just ads on the right side but seems like we shouldn't have to do it.

I don't scroll, not even in my laptop, perhaps it's the browser not resizing the windows as the main page is set at 100%, regardless of the resolution. Let us know the full system, so we can explore it. Thanks, rg.

See if that works better, looks good on Safari, IE and Firefox (Mac). Let me know, thanks, rg.

Post a screen shot of what you see and that might help us make a judgement of what might be causing it.
