I'm viewing some shots in Bridge of an orange lily I made this weekend (sorry, not glamour). The images are in NEF format, and when I click in the image to zoom in, the color shifts and the orange lily becomes almost pink! When I zoom back the color returns to orange. Anyone have a clue as to what is happening?

Bizarre,
Doc

I also get this with my cr2 files in Canon. My thought is this is the difference between the preview embedded within the file, and the actual raw data from the file. I think this is an issue with Bridge because if I use some other program to sort my images it's not an issue.

I don't believe Bridge makes any use of the embedded Jpg. I"m still not quite sure at what point, from the original description of the problem, where the problem is occurring. Are you all in Bridge, and click to see the Preview (not a zoom), or are you actually in the RAW converter and you zoom and see the problem?
Just as a side note, I have CS3 and I shoot with the Canon 20D and thus have CR2 files. I have never noticed the problem you all are talking about. Perhaps you could post one of the CR2 images that you're having a problem with.
Cheers

Thanks, all -

I'm going to do some more research before I send an image. The series is synchronized with a Gretag-Macbeth Colorchecker in the first image and the resulting .psd file exhibits the same color shift. So, the zoomed version must have undergone the same type of conversion.

Back to basics...
