I just noticed that all the Epson ICC Profiles have disappeared from the R2400 Printer Dialog Screen in CS3! I have downloaded them again from the Epson site, but they don't show up. Anyone else have this problem?

Doc

PS Just found them - under Edit > Assign Profile and Edit > Convert To Profile. I guess you have to assign Printer/Paper Profiles to each image in CS3, but I'm still having problems matching color. Everthing looks great on the screen - no Gamut warnings and just a slight color shift on Soft Proof. First time for this problem with the D200 and my new color management procedures. About to learn something...

Doc

PSS I shot a series of macros of pink Gerber daisys today. As I said, everthing looks great right up to printing. The pink has turned to peach color. I've back-tracked all the settings I use. Any sugestions would be appreciated. Here is the image:

Just printed a GretagMacbeth Chart and the daisy image using CS2 and both are perfect. Something about my CS3 Printer settings must be AFU.

Doc

PS Problem solved. The Printer Profile drop down list in CS3 contains too many profile entries to display at one time. That's what the ellipsis (...) at the end of the first, default RBG entry means. You have to click on the last visible entry at the bottom of the list to get it to refresh with more entries. I had to do this several times before I found my SPR2400 entries. Test prints of the GretagMacbeth Chart and the daisy are perfect in CS3 now, too. Now, how to delete all the profiles I never use...

I have a Canon i9900 printer. Are there any profiles for this printer?

Hey Photonut -

I'm sure there are... Try Googling "Canon i9900 Printer Profiles". They should have them for most common papers for Canon printers. Either the printer or the paper manufacturor should have them readily available for download from the Web in ZIP format.
