My prints have always printed darker then what I have seen on my monitor. I have used the eye calibration for my monitor and all the shades come out clear. Someone told me to check my Color Settings because this is where the problem may be.

Problem is, I don't know what they should all be set to. Right now they are at default web. I use Photoshop 7.

Would anyone like to share where all these settings should be if processing for print use? Is this something that needs to be changed depending on the photograph's use?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Charlie -

What brand monitor and what printer do you have?

I'm sure nothing developed for real print processing. I have a Dell 19" LCD and a Dell consumer type color printer. I would buy a different printer but wanted to make sure I have everything set up properly first so I don't continue to have the same problems.

Thanks.
