Imagine a world where any major cosmetics company can "create" and copyright the perfect model to represent their brand.

Imagine a world where CG models never grow old ... and all have perfect figures that can be easily adjusted from a size zero to a plus size 16 via a downloaded software plug-in.

Imagine a world where we're all out of work because of the dang computers! LOL

I hate to say it, Marty, but you're a lot closer to that world than anyone would like to think. Though I doubt the out of work scenario will ever come to pass. Look at music. Musicians thought they'd be obsolete when all the synthesizers started being used, but musicians still abound. I think there always will be a strong demand for photographs of "normal" people, even if product endorsements are done via computer images.
