I need help removing lense flares from an image. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I suggest posting the photo in question so that members have a better idea of what needs to be done. They will post retouched versions of the photo and then you can take a look and enquire as to how it was done.

This is the image. I've tried every photoshop technique that I can think of. Please help.<again> [image][/image]
I am challenged by the flare on the left sie of the image.

Hi Monte, I deal with this type of things all the time with close up shots. Have you tried to remove the area and remove the yellow or flare color from the area? Then I would go back and over saturate the area and blend it. This way you would keep the original shadows and textures but correct the problem? Are you trying to work on this image only or many of them from this shoot?

This isn't pefect but it's a start. Using Photoshop I first selected the area with the Magig Wand Tool. I then removed the color. I then used the Sharpen Filter to bring detail back. I then used the Burn Tool to even it out a bit. The image needs more work but it's a start. With more attention to detail the image could be repaired. I spent about 4 minutes on it.
