Can someone please explain how or if I can put my initials, " WJG 2005 "on each finished phpotgraph. Manually I can add "WJG 2005" to each photo once I finish photoshopping it but is there a way to add this automaticly? I think it is done in the actions palatte
in Photoshop CS but I,m not having any luck getting it done.

You are right about doing it. Make an action to add it to all your photos. Like everything else make all your changes while the image is in an uncompressed format. Then save the file in what ever you want.

This is what I do .

1. Open an image in CS. open actions window
2. Start the actions recorder and name the new action logo
3. Click on the text editor
4. Type what you want and move it to the location on the image you want.
5. Flaten the image
6. save image
7. stop actions recorder

I might add I do a few other things to my images along with adding the logo. But that should work for just logos.

I strongly suggest you put a copyright notice in the slug. It has legal ramifications: if you ever catch and sue a thief, he would not be allowed to even claim "innocent infringement" in his defense. It also tends to show "good faith" on your part, and have other direct and indirect advantages.

The copyright office website has much useful information.

Where do you find the copyright symbol when using the Type tool in PS CS2?

Doc,
Try using alt0169 That should produce the copyright symbol.

Thanks, I tried that in Times New Roman and Arial without success. The cursor doesn't move when you type alt + 0169.
