Thanks for turning my photo into a masterpiece. I have got learn Photoshop. This is just another example of why.

Sean, Here are a couple very quick edits.



The easiest thing to do to get it close is open the curves dialog in PS and click on the white point eye dropper and zoom in on the eye with the whitest point in it and click on the whitest pixel that you see. Then do the same for you black point. Next you can adjust your levels to tweak it just a little more.

There are two fast and easy ways to fix this photo in PS.
1. Create a duplicate layer and then set the blending mode to Screen.
2. Create an adjustment layer for curves, and sample the black area with black eyedropper and then drag the middle of the curve up to taste.

Either method will give a good result. Here is a 30 second example:



I also sharpened the eyes just a bit and got rid of the stray lock of hair.
