I use CS and I find shooting in RAW to be a big pain. I understand all of the reasons to shoot RAW, but the workflow can be troublesome. Maybe there is a switch or a setting I am missing.
When I bring an image into CS that is shot in RAW, it brings up the RAW adjustment page. Is there a way to automate this? I have tried to make a batch action to just accept the image as shot and it just seems to ignore the action step to continue. I was working my way thru the "photographing women" book by Kevin Ames and thru his lesson, it seems that his CS does not stop at this step. If I have 200 images to import and convert I have to sit here and confirm the step on each one. I would much rather let it work and then go back and make any further adjustments on just selected images.
Am I just an idiot or am I missing some option or selection feature?
Thanks,

In the Browser in CS under the automate menu you can apply a ACR "profile" to any images selected in the browser.

ACR stands for "Adobe Camera Raw". That is the interface you were talking about that pops up when you try to load a RAW photo into PS CS. You can flag any number of images in a folder and use the Automate | Batch to run your scripts, filters, etc.

Cheers,
rfs

ok, I think I got it. I had to check the " suppress open dialog" box. Now it will open and save the RAW as a jpg and then close the file and move to the next one. Thanks to everyone, I thought I was just missing a check or option somewhere....
