Does anyone know where I can get some photoshop training in the MD/DC area? I want to speed up the learning curve that I have. I have no patience to sit there and learn by trial and error!.
Thanks guys
Joe

Go to adobe's site. There you will find a list of certified instructors. Select by the area you want.

There's a ton of PS training available on CDrom and DVD. Learn at your own pace.

btw, learning PS is a "forever" endeavor. The more you learn the more you'll realize what you don't know and in need of still learning.

I don't think you looking for a book, but I highly recommend "Photoshop CS One On One". It's written like a training course and comes with video on cd as well as all the files you need. For about $40, the price is much nicer than a live course! I hate learning from books but this worked well.

I would recommend you check out the Element K Journals publication "Inside Photoshop." I've been a subscriber for quite some time and they are very well-done in my humble opinion. Their website is www.elementkjournals.com. From there you can find links to both Inside Photoshop and Photoshop Fundamentals. They don't come cheap but they are very well-done.

As for instructors, I think you've already got some input on that. I offer this up only as an adjunct to what you are already seeking. Have a great weekend!
