Was a beautful photo before, but with the addition of some photo shop lighting and gausen blur made it alot more i think.

Comments?

P.S. Rolando, on not needing to shoot all lighting flat and even. I love the comment. I seldom shoot without trying to add depth to the photo with Lighting ballance. Cuts down on puter time.

Personally I prefer lightening things up. What do you think of this alternative? Make a background layer on the new layer Diffuse glow with no grain. Set opacity on the layer to 80% Click the background layer, mask, paint brush at high flow. Paint the gown. Unclick mask, invert selection, copy past. Bump the new layer to the top and set it to 50% opacity, luminosity. It adds a nice glow, soften things up, brighten thins up, bet keeps the detail in the dress from being lost.

I guess I just don't get it... to me the orginal is by far the best. PS is a wonderful tool in the hands of somebody with a sense of restraint.

I guess I tend to print darker than most people. I like things better that way. The deeper tones and textures seem to me to give more depth and bring out the character in faces. All in what you like. Your photo is certainly good. I just like the skin tones I get like the original.
