I tried a slightly different approach to 'prettyfying' your image.
Basic levels...didn't need much.
Curves adjustment in LAB mode, lightness channel to get more punch.
USM snapshot, brush in eyes, lips, teeth, nostrils, clothes.
12% saturation on lips plus brush in hue of backround to lips.
G-Blur snapshot, brush in skin at varying opacities, similar to areas in another post.
Add some minimal noise to skin.
Crop out the arms..I thought they were distracting.
12% red background overlay layer over entire image for a little less separation.
