Here ya' go. My first try at someone else's work.

RGB Levels=
8 2.06 233

Blue Levels=
1.16 (midtones)

Contrast=
+15%

Saturation=
+10%

Healing Tool=
Removed wrinkles at the top of her arm pit
Removed dark circles under both eyes
Merged shadows from her nose and cheeks

Unsharp Mask=
50 1 0

Dodge Tool=
Lightened window pane shadow from shoulder
Lightened shadow from under her nose
Lightened shadow along the side of her nose
Lightened shadows on her chest

Sharpening Tool=
Her hair and her skin.

Ran spell check on critique.
I think it could probably stand a little more contrast but maybe someone else can try their hand at it. I am not a photoshop wiz.

Ok Mr Smith, now it's my turn. But I don't know what key on the computer to use to get the copyright C in the circle. Any help on that one?

Hmm... Not sure about the other efforts, but here's my try.

Too bad that the original is so low res... there's hardly enough to work with.

Aloha from Hawaii,

levels then curves brought the image back...
then basic clean up( sharpen, blur, lighten, darken, saturation, some reconstruction, and some noise to cover my tracks.

Here's my attempt.

A little bit of curves, some "skylight filter" from Nik's color effects pro (add's a hint of yellow/orange)
Some desaturation to tone down the overall tone.
Some gausian blur for some overal softening.
and a "render" lighting effect coming in from the upper left.

Hope you like it.

Mark

to get the © symbol

hold down the ALT key and punch in 0169 on the number pad (then let off the ALT key) on a pc

if you try to use the numbers above the abc's on the keyboard it doesn't work

Sent you a lengthy email on what my technique was to this photo there Foto_Highway. Leah. I wonder what Mr Fredrick Smith is thinking now that he has seen a few of us try out our stuff on his photograph?
