My friend and I were playing around. This is what we ended up with, I did a bit of digital art to create the final effect. Please let me know what you guys think!

Overall I like it. There's a few small details I think might make it better. On the wings there's a few white spots that are a little distracting, they shouldn't be hard to PS out. Speaking of the wings I don't see any detail in the shadows. I like the necklace of the fleur de lis but it isn't straight. It looks like you have a great mode there.
