It's a little confusing initially, but I find myself staring at it and trying to figure it out. i would have to say it works, for me, because it's got me thinking about whether I like it or not, and I keep going back and forth on it.
By the way, I used to shoot with C-330 years back,( in the late 70's, early 80's) and I loved that camera. had 3 lenses for it, and it made me stop and plan my shots in detail.
