OK......dummy me! I had been mostly using my 80-200mm f2.8 lens for headshot testing that was recently used on my N90s.....guess what, it had a Skylight 1B filter on instead of a plain UV that I normally use for lens protection. Makes a huge difference in tint with it removed. Again, thanks for all the input. You guys are great.....since other user was getting good quality, it made me start looking for variables.
