The way I usually get good results of lines across the body is to use a set of blinds about 2 - 3 feet from the model and a single hotlight (a movie camera light gives a nice warm effect) aiming through them so I can adjust the blind opening to get the desired effect. Sorry that I don't have a sample on line to show you but I'll try to find one later and post.
